About
Hello.
I am a product focused data scientist and experience designer working at the intersection of immersive art, consciousness research and social impact.
I am the founder and artistic director of Screenshot Productions, an immersive installation collective producing work in Los Angeles and San Francisco exploring objectless awareness and non-duality. I have also worked as a producing director, general manager, stage manager and performer for various immersive theatrical companies and venues including The Flight Deck, The Speakeasy, We Players, Whisperlodge, and Vortex Productions (creators of the extreme theatrical event Blackout).
In addition, I have produced marketing activation work for conventions such as IndieCade, Midsummer Scream and ScareLA as well as produced activations for corporate events for firms such as Y Combinator.
Finally, I have developed websites and digital experiences for The Speakeasy SF and McMaster-Carr Supply Company. At both companies I interfaced with design and development teams to define the product roadmap, and conducted extensive user interviews and tests to optimize the holistic experience.
The mission in all the work I create, regardless of form or medium, is to place the individual within universal experiences that speak to relevant social issues, and thereby ask the individual to consider their responsibility within a larger whole. I seek to challenge the individual to find empathy and connection to others' experience and believes that immersive experiences (whether live or mixed reality) are a strong conduit for provoking thought and response in audience members.
I have been in the experience design industry since 2012, graduated with an MBA in Leadership and Managing Organizational Change in 2014 from Pepperdine University, and completed the Metis Data Science immersive in September 2019.
